Ruth B. Burkhouse

95, of Mt. Lebanon, went home to be the Lord on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Ralph E. Burkhouse, Jr., and her 5 siblings and their spouses. She is survived by her children, Janet (Michael) Grosso, Nancy (George) Brehm and Ralph W. Burkhouse, 6 grandchildren, 6 great -grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Ruth graduated from Westinghouse High school and worked as a Bell telephone operator. After raising her family, she became a beautician. Ruth was active in her church and community. She enjoyed antiques, gardening, bridge and large family picnics. Ruth was a member of Beverly Heights Church of Mt. Lebanon. Funeral and Internment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be private. Memorials may be made to Beverly Heights Church, 1207 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228.
