Sally A. Stewart, of Sarasota, FL and Pittsburgh, PA, passed away following a brief illness on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the age of 81.
Daughter of the late Wallace D. Stewart and Madeline Almon Stewart; beloved sister of Pat (Tony) Frick; aunt of Kit (Osvaldo Oyola) Frick; great-aunt of Ramona Oyola-Frick.
Sally spent many years as the loving caregiver for her parents in Sarasota. In 2024, she returned to her native Pittsburgh to live with her sister and be close to family. Throughout her life, Sally loved to travel (favorite trips included Alaska, China, Japan, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and the Grand Tetons), read (especially mystery novels), craft (from needlepoint and cross stitch to beading to handmade holiday gifts), and spend time with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial in Sally’s honor will be held at the Providence Point Chapel at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 20, with a reception to follow at noon in the Chartiers Room.
