Sarah Catherine (Cupelli) Kauper

Age 91, of Point Marion, PA, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025. Born on September 22, 1933, she was the cherished daughter to the late Ralph and Assunta Cupelli. She is now at peace with her devoted husband of 60+ years, John G. Kauper, who she met while studying at Carnegie Mellon University. Beloved mother of Greg (Suzie Ford) Kauper and Alexandra Chiaruttini (Jim Isett). Loving grandmother to Natalie, Lauren, and Chloe. Sarah was the youngest of five siblings, the late Ralph, Alfred, Dominick, and Jean. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Sarah loved and cared for us all. She was an accomplished and talented singer and pianist. She shared her love of music with those around her to the end. We all thank her for the glorious and welcoming family meals and celebrations she hosted in her beautiful home designed by her husband. She was an intelligent, strong role model and a great mom, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Being the baby of her generation, we must retain our history and connection without her now.

Family and friends welcome on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., where a prayer service will be held at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, PA 15216. Interment in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
