Severin Thomas Dvorsky

Age 88, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Beloved and devoted husband for 65 years of Carolyn Grochowski Dvorsky; son of the late Severin and Rose Dvorsky; son-in-law of the late Joseph and Wanda Grochowski; dear brother of Anna Kudla (Donald) and the late Joseph Dvorsky (the late Carol); brother-in-law of Joseph Grochowski; also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Severin was an Electrical Engineer for Crucible Research; he was a longtime member and usher at St. Bernard Church. Sev was a sports car and car cruise enthusiast and owned several sports cars throughout his lifetime. He was a collector of Edison Phonographs and  fine antiques. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Antique Radio Society (PARS) and a member and former director of the Pittsburgh Jaycees (now Vectors-Pittsburgh). Friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) on Thursday morning at 10:00, with his cousin, Rev. Thomas J. Burke, as Celebrant. Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Pittsburgh, 2835 E.
