Shirley A. Eskew

On Sunday, November 5, 2023, Shirley Allen Eskew, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away at the age of 87.

Loving wife of 44 years to the late William F. Eskew; beloved mother of William A. (Mindy), Linda (Kevin) Tigrett, Philip (Carol), and Nancy (Dave) Bone; grandmother of Ryan, Bryce, Madison, Troy, Megan, Kathryn, and Sarah Eskew, Brandon, Mackenzie, and Riley Tigrett, and Alec and Brenden Bone; great-grandmother of Thomas Eskew, Beckham Bone, and Millie Tigrett.

She is preceded in death by her parents Forest and Christine Allen and her brother Bernard Allen.

Shirley loved life and lived it to its fullest. She especially loved her family and enjoyed supporting all her grandchildren by attending every dance, cheer, gymnastic, baseball, hockey, basketball, soccer, and golf event that she possibly could. She was an avid WVU fan and always brought great joy to the family with her famous tailgating pepperoni rolls. Shirley was an avid tennis player, golfer, walker, and played a serious game of Bridge. She enjoyed many days in the company of her dearest friends. She was a deacon at Southminster Presbyterian Church and a longtime member at Chartiers Country Club. 

Friends received on Friday, November 10, from 11am until the time of service at 12pm at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Interment will be private.
