Sondra Lee "Sandi" Hurbanek

Age 87, of Mt. Lebanon, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Beloved wife and loving partner for over 60 years of Ronald Hurbanek; sister of Michael 'Bernie' Koval, Susan Marcej, Michaeline Moffat, and Imelda Poluha; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Sandi attended Rankin high school and then was a graduate of the Engineering and Secretarial Division of the former Business Training College in Pittsburgh. She then went to work as a Chemical Engineering Secretary and eventually worked her way up to be the Executive Administrative Assistant to the President of the Trading and Transportation Division of Gulf Oil.

Sandi was a longtime member of Our Lady of Grace Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish). Her passions included gardening, Post Gazette crossword puzzles and playing computer slot games.

Calling hours have been omitted. Service and interment were private.
