Stanley J. Szott

The last living child of Martin and Mary Szott of Mine 3, Stanley J. Szott, age 97, of Castle Shannon, PA passed away on November 19, 2022. Brothers and sisters, Joe (born in Poland), Blanche, Ted, Bill, Ethel, Stella, Stan and Dolly are all deceased. Stan was a proud man that he was a Duquesne University graduate, proud to be from Polish descendants, loved his family, respected his faith, and honor his time to support his country in WW II. Stan was married to Helen Szott until her death in 1995. They had no children, were rich and blessed with many nieces, nephews and friendships. Uncle Stan was that fun uncle. Services will be held at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 1008 Castle Shannon Blvd. on Friday December 9, at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow in the National Cemetery of The Alleghenies.
