Obituary
Sue Neubert, age 96, formerly of Dormont, passed peacefully to the kingdom of Heaven on Monday, November 14. Sue loved swimming, Scrabble, and sports – but her greatest joy was her grandchildren: Christopher (April) Kasten, Lauren (Michael Pesta) Neubert, Marcie (Dan) Hyde, Laura, Becki, and Patrick (Melissa) Martinelli. Sue worked at Pediatrics South for more than 40 years and was an active member of Dormont Presbyterian and Unity Presbyterian churches. She was preceded in death by her beloved Dale and dear sister Gretchen (John) Miller. Her children – Gretchen Neubert, Dan (Cathy) Neubert, Polly (Doug) McCracken, Melissa (Bill) Michaels, and Betsy (Jeff) Martinelli, along with many nieces and nephews, will miss her greatly. Friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, on Thursday from 2-8 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in the Unity Presbyterian Church 1146 Greentree Road, on Saturday at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Friends of Dormont Pool, 3262 Gaylord Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15216 – her favorite place in the world.
