Susan Elizabeth Findlay, went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2026, at the age of 60.
Suzie is the youngest of six children to the late Thomas and Elizabeth “Libby” Zielinski. She always said, “It took mom and dad six times to get the best one”.
Beloved wife of Steven Findlay; mother of John Paul Findlay; sisters Carol (Brian) Page, Diane (Thomas) Doody, Mary (Mark) Cooke; brothers Robert (Kim) Zielinski and Thomas (Diane) Zielinski; aunt of Thomas (Sophie) Doody, Elizabeth Higgins, David(Vicki) Doody, Maria (Eric) Davis, Michael (Breanna) Doody, Melissa Zielinski, Cass Zielinski, Mary De La Cruz, Anna Cooke, Matthew Cooke, Aubrey Zielinski, Emily (John) Conklin, Elise (Patrick) Canning and the late Brian George Page II; great-aunt of Ava, Noah, Lily, Austin, Greyson, Madelynn, Abigail, Dominic, and Kye.
If you knew her, she was always positive even through the toughest times. Suzie went to be with Jesus after a long and courageous battle against cancer. She will be so dearly missed by her family and friends. Her will, spirit, and faith are an inspiration to the end. She will always be an inspiration for all of us.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 7, at 10am in St. Bernard Church, St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 311 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Interment to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
