Susan Zirpoli

Susan Zirpoli, of Dormont, formerly of Brookline, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the age of 56. 

Daughter of the late Philip and Judith Zirpoli; beloved mother of Ethan VonHedemann; sister of Teresa and Rebecca Zirpoli; aunt of Joshua Bush, Adam Bush, Jacob Mackin, Lucas Mackin, Maxwell Heller and Morgan Heller.

Susan was a compassionate and accepting woman to all. In her younger years, she was very active with sports and loved music. She was her own little hippie and touched so many lives. She loved working with children at her church. Her life is one not to be forgotten but to live life as she did. 

Susan’s greatest achievement was giving birth to her son Ethan. He was her pride and joy. 

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

A memorial service in Susan’s honor will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 2pm at Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church, 3319 West Liberty Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15216.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested to Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church.
