Sue spent her childhood in Brookline and lived most of her life in Mt. Lebanon, where she raised her family. She had a wonderful and caring mother, Emma. Sue and the children were blessed to have her live with them, providing constant support and love.
Sue was a patient and dedicated mother, always willing to listen and offer her children unwavering support. She was a proud and loving grandmother, who never missed an opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren or tell stories about their adventures.
Sue was a faithful and devoted member of the Roman Catholic Church, and these beliefs and values guided her life. She was a leader in the pro-life movement, and for over forty years was the president of Lifeline of Southwest Pennsylvania, a crisis pregnancy center that also provides support for newborn children and their mothers. She touched the lives of countless families over the years. In addition, she was active in her children’s Catholic school education and served on many committees and volunteer activities at the school. She was the treasurer of the Athletic Association at St. Bernards parish, and also a eucharistic minister.
Sue loved spending time with her family and friends, especially taking trips and vacations with them, and engaging in hours long conversations about almost anything. She was a kind, loyal, and considerate friend. Sue will be sincerely missed by all who knew and loved her.
