Theresa Florence Rogers

Theresa Florence Rogers, 83, died January 1, 2021. She was born June 9, 1937 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Josephine Qualtiere. Known to many as Terry, Mom, Mrs. R, Grammy, or Auntie Terry, her home and dinner table were always welcoming to family, friends, and whoever else was at the house. Her home was filled with love, good food, and laughter.Surviving are husband, Dean W. Rogers; six children, Mary Jo Rogers, William E. Rogers (Linda), Dean W. Rogers Jr. (Kirsten), Michael J. Rogers, Mark A. Rogers  (Lil), and Cynthia L. Rogers (Stephen Ellis); grandchildren Melissa Constant, William Constant III, William Travis Rogers, Malayna Stefaniszyn (Brin), Victor Rogers, Dylan Rogers, Marita Ellis, Flora Ellis, Bella Clement; great-grandchildren Loden Stefaniszyn, and Laeli Stefaniszyn. Terry was active in the Ladies of Charity at Our Lady of Grace parish and she loved reading, music, and Native American Art. One of her favorite activities was going to country & western concerts and meeting the artists who became her friends.Terry loved to cook and bake. Her lasagna dinner was an A-list event - a coveted invitation. There was always room for an extra plate at the dinner table. Terry always had cookies in the house for whoever happened to stop by. The cookie jar was never empty. Family and friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 222 Washington Road Mt. Lebanon on Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to donate to the Ladies of Charity at St. Michaels the Archangel (formerly Our Lady of Grace) and spend time with your family.
