Thomas Edward "Tom" Kemper

Age 81, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday morning, September 22, 2021. Beloved son of the late Regis T. and Gertrude N. Kemper; loving brother of William M. Kemper (Gloria) and the late Joseph F. Kemper (the late Frances); dear uncle of Jennifer Kemper Schuhart, Brennan Kemper (Kate), the late Billy Kemper and the late Kevin Kemper; great-uncle of Scarlett Schuhart and Arie Kemper. Tom earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Duquesne University and worked as an Inspection Engineer for PENNDOT prior to his retirement. He was a long-time member of St. Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) where he served as an usher for many years. Tom was also an active member of Ben's Men's Club (St. Benedict the Abbot) of St. John XXIII's Parish for many years where he enjoyed activities and performed outreach to the Church and Community.  Friends are welcome to attend his viewing at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Bernard Church on Wednesday morning at 11:30. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
