Timothy Reilly

Timothy Reilly, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the age of 72.

Son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Reilly. Loving brother of Michael Reilly, Maureen (the late William J.) Schuette and the late Roberta J. (the late Robert J.) Kelley; uncle of Janice (Mark) Wolff, Christine (Mary) Schuette, Mark (Gina) Schuette, Ronald (Deadra) Kelley, and Jay, Andy and Jill Reilly; great-uncle of Emily (Christopher), Reilly (Andrew) and Brock; great-great-uncle of Kora and Sienna. Timothy is also survived by his dear friends Diane and Al.

Tim was a personable, great sense of humor, happy go lucky guy that could instantly connect with people and develop a lifelong friendship. His qualities made him a great friend to so many and a successful sales and marketing product specialist. Worked in the safety industry for 40 plus years. He was a true expert in the field and took pride in keeping people safe. Valued by his employers, customers, and colleagues.  Loved cooking, reading, spending time with nieces and nephews. He always supported his family, friends, and neighbors with thoughtful and interesting conversation, guidance, and time to always take interest in their lives.  He was an avid reader and novice writer.  This made him a great storyteller. He always had a thirst for knowledge and provided him with his ability to talk about any subject, just like his father.  He was always available and had good advice for friends and family. Involved with the community like being on his townhouse community board, local Castle Shannon Library involvement, and teaching people to read.  He enriched the lives he touched through his knowledge, experiences, kindness, caring, and personal interests he took in everyone he knew. He will be sadly missed by so many although will never be forgotten because of his special bonds he left with each of us. 

Friends received on Wednesday, September 17, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15216. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 18, at 10am in St. Paul of the Cross Parish, Saint Anne Church, 400 Hoodridge Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15234.
