Virginia Dunn

Age 101, of Scott Twp., passed away peacefully on May 3, 2024. Daughter of the late Arthur Woods and Helen Stanton Woods. Beloved wife of the late William L. Dunn. Loving mother of Kevin (Nancy), Brian, Kathleen Schmitz. Devoted Nana of Michael, Jacqueline, Melissa, and Kelly. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Virginia worked as an Air Raid Warden in New York City, during World War II. She volunteered at Our Lady of Grace church for many years, where she enjoyed spending time helping children in the school library. Virginia was family-oriented and took pride in being a dedicated mother and nana. She was a great dancer and loved to read the New York Times and finish their crossword puzzles in ink.

Family and friends welcome Tuesday, May 7th, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Rd., Mount Lebanon, 15216. A Mass of Chirstian Burial will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
