92, of Scott Township, died Wednesday, July 20, at her home of natural causes.
Friends may pay respects from 3:00 – 5:00 pm on Sunday July 24, 2022 at Laughlin Funeral Home at 222 Washington Rd, Mt. Lebanon. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday July 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Mt. Lebanon, followed by a burial ceremony at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
Vivian was born to Stephen and Veronica DelliGatti on April 7, 1930, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her former spouse, Adolph Scotti; son, Victor, brother James; and sisters, Marie Navarro and Regina Viehman. She is survived by her sister Helene (Edmund) Karcher, of Sacramento, CA; three children: Vincent Eirene of Pittsburgh, Genevieve (Mike) Schroeder, of St. Petersburg, FL, and David (Teresa) Scotti of Mt. Lebanon. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A 1948 graduate of Carrick High School, Vivian was proud to have served as president of the St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church Guild. She had a 33-year career in retailing at Miller’s, Bailey Banks & Biddle, Kaufmann’s, Saks and Macy’s. An avid bridge and poker player, a complete sports fanatic and a wonderful gardener. “Viv” was a connoisseur of fashion, and appreciated for her sociability and sense of humor. She enjoyed her long life surrounded by family and a wide circle of friends.
