William John Arch

Age 71, of the Brookline area of Pittsburgh,  surrounded by family on Friday, August 29, 2025. Beloved companion and husband of Deborah (Cibocchi) VanKirk; devoted father of Billy, Michael (Amanda) and the late Matthew Arch; Ryan (Gina) VanKirk and  Mikki (Chris) Peters; loving grandfather of Grace, Gavin and Vivian Arch; Kyra, Dylan and Raiah VanKirk; Avery, T.J., Camry and Jake Peters; son of the late William and Dorothy (Schuetz) Arch; brother of Mary (David) Kuban, Carolyn, Barbara (Dominic) Marone, Dorothy, Nancy, David, Tom, the late Joan and Daniel (survived by Beth) Arch; also survived by nieces, nephews and the mother of the Arch boys, Lisa Duncan. Bill was a retired employee of Peoples Gas (formerly Equitable Gas) for 40 years. Over the past 6 years, Bill enjoyed his retirement with excursions around the world to many beautiful destinations. In addition, he relished relaxing family vacations to Canadohta Lake, especially when it included grandkids. Bill will truly be missed by all those who’s lives he touched. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon on Wednesday 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) Mount Lebanon on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be private. If desired, memorials may be made to the Church at 311 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
