Age 80, peacefully at home in Scott Twp., on Monday January 13, 2025. Beloved husband for 58 years of Trudy L. (McAdams) Bridges; devoted father of Renee and Jamie; proud Papa of Casey; brother of Shirley Stooksbury, Mary Lou Coffey, the late Leon, Cecil and Ray Bridges; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bill was a Proud Veteran with a tireless work ethic. As an electrician, he dedicated 30 years to the Mt. Lebanon School District. When he finally retired, he would only work a half day, 40 hours a week. He was a member of Greater South Hills Lodge No. 684 F&AM Masons. To all those who had the pleasure of knowing him he was confidant, mentor, father or uncle ‘Bill’.
Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Thursday from 3:00 until 7:00pm
We will gather for Services at Faith Lutheran Church, 80 Bartley Road, Upper St. Clair on Friday morning at 11:30. Interment in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
