William E. "Bill" King Sr.

William E. "Bill" King Sr. died peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the age of 79, in Pittsburgh, PA surrounded by his family. Bill was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.  He loved his hometown of Upper St. Clair, PA, spending time at Cheat Lake, WV, anything with a motor, and sharing a laugh.  Bill showed tremendous resilience following an accident as a young adult that left him deaf and he never lost his sense of humor throughout his 7-year battle with Lewy Body Dementia.  Bill was a valuable member of the Lions Club and will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia "Patty" King, their children, William "Bill" King Jr. (Leah) and Shaunna Austin (Brian) as well as grandchildren Cameron, Patrick, and Kaylee.  Bill is also survived by his sister, Jean Dee (Jim). Family and friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Thursday June 16, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A memorial service will be held at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church on Friday June 17, 2022 at 10 AM with burial to follow at Smithfield East End Cemetery.
