Harry C. "Mac" McFerran

Harry C ‘Mac’ McFerran, age 86 passed away peacefully in Austin, TX on Friday July 7, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Katherine S McFerran. He is survived by his four children;  Debbie Engstrom (Todd) of Austin, TX, Crawford (Trish) of York, PA, Kathy Arnowitt (Rick) of Jupiter, FL, and Glenn (Laura) of Venetia PA. He was the beloved grandfather of nine. Harry ‘Mac’ graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School and Penn State University before serving in the US Air Force. He was a Mechanical Engineer during his working career, majority of which was spent living in Upper St. Clair, PA while raising their family. He truly loved a good joke, as well as coaching Little League Baseball in his earlier years for his sons. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Rd. Mt. Lebanon, Friday July 14, 10:30-12:30, with services to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in his memory to The Alzheimers Association, Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 1100 Liberty Ave Suite E 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
