Maureen K. (Byrnes) O'Hara

Age 78, peacefully surrounded by her family, on Friday morning, September 16, 2016. Beloved wife for 56 years of Gerald T. “Jerry” O’Hara; devoted mother of Daniel M. (Karen) O’Hara, Gerald F. (Jacqueline) O’Hara, Kathleen M. Zingler and Michael J. (Linda) O’Hara; loving grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of 5, also survived by nieces and nephews. Maureen was a registered nurse and was an active member of Saint Winifred Church. She was the Chair of the Women’s 45 Plus Tennis League for many years. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Memorial Chapel, 222 Washington Road, Pittsburgh Sunday 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Winifred Church, Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
