William P. "Pap" McCarthy

Age 92, of Mt. Lebanon on Friday April 8, 2016.  Preceded in death by his wife Marguerite (Mag Downey), and beloved daughter Nancy. Loving Father of Bill McCarthy (Bonnie), Kate Hershberger (Paul), Noreen Barna (Bob), Mary McCarthy, Ursula Reed (Bobby) and Kevin McCarthy (Amy); cherished grandfather/great grandfather of Richard, Kristen, Justin, Corey, Ashley, Michael, Oscar, Annabel & Vivienne.  This man of great faith, wit & kindness made our world a better place. Mass of Christian burial will be offered in St. Bernard Church, Mt. Lebanon, on Monday at 10:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers those who wish to remember William may direct donations to St. Bernard Angel Fund and or choose a day to perform a random act of kindness.
