Dolores N. Fazio

Age 88, of Castle Shannon, peacefully at home on Friday, January 5, 2017. Born on February 4, 1929 in the city’s Uptown neighborhood, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary Fazio; sister of the late Gregory (Mary Ann) Fazio and Theresa (survived by Rudy) Simkovich; aunt of Valerie Simkovich, Lenora Fazio, Jacqueline Fazio and Gregory (Mary Anne) Fazio; great aunt of Alicia, Kaitlin and Maria Fazio. Dolores was employed by Washington National Insurance Company for 40 years. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of Community Life Homestead and also the staff at Baptist Manor, Castle Shannon who went above and beyond to advise and help us care for Dolores in her final years. Your genuine and sincere compassion cannot be matched. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 1008 Castle Shannon Blvd., Castle Shannon, Saturday morning from 8:45 until 9:15 followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Anne Church at 9:30.
