In a hard time Laughlin Funeral Home, and especially Kurt, helped my family to navigate the logistics of their services with a kind and patient heart. It's a odd thing to "recommend" a funeral home, but I would put both my trust and loved ones in their care again without a second thought. Thank you for your support.

I would like to thank everyone at Laughlin’s Funeral Home in Mt. Lebanon for the stellar service that my family and I received during our recent bereavement; starting with the very quiet, respectful and professional removal of my son’s remains in the middle of the night without any disturbance to the members of our family or my neighbors.
Our Funeral Director, Mike E. was extremely professional, knowledgeable and considerate of our pain during this time. He took care of every possible contingency from the viewing to the necessary funeral and external notifications. Mike provided us with choices for each aspect of our planning, (including remembrance cards, possible prayer and poem options for the cards, viewing options, appropriate flower arrangements etc.) that were available to us, all of the time maintaining a pleasant but respectable manner. One of the other Funeral Directors, Sarah, also provided exceptional service during this difficult time.

We shared a beautiful commemoration of my son’s life (as much as possible during Covid) and I thank Mike, Sarah, and all of the staff for their compassion, dedication and professionalism.

I was so pleased with the appearance of my mother; it was over the moon on how good she looked. She looked like her elegant self again. Seeing her look like that again made us all feel so good. Everyone at Laughlin’s went above and beyond; they are the nicest people to work with.

The difference between Laughlin's and another funeral home was night and day! The other funeral home was robotic and all they cared about was payment. Mike was wonderful and told us that Laughlin's was there to serve. I really can't put into words all they did, other to say "What a difference". I will be telling all my family and friends how wonderful Laughlin's was.

No one is ever prepared for the death of a loved one; however, Pete and Kurt's compassion and professionalism helped to ease the pain of our loss. They attended to every detail and did so flawlessly. I would highly recommend Laughlin's.

Wonderful! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mike. He was compassionate and had a sense of humor. He accommodated us and our kids. Mike even arranged the eulogy at the cemetery; he set it all up. Everything was beautiful.

Mike was terrific; he even came to our home which we really appreciated. Everyone commented on how nice mom looked. Fabulous, Fabulous job! Thanks so much!

We were so thankful that my mom took the time to prearrange and pre-pay her funeral. It relieved us from having to make so many decisions and eliminated us from worrying about how to pay for her funeral.

My mother passed away a few years ago. I remember Mike and Pete being very kind and attentive. They asked many questions about my mother. When I told them she loved to cook and that I made a cookbook of her recipes for the grandchildren they asked to see it. When we arrived for the viewing they had printed copies of her cookbook for all the visitors. Needless to say after the afternoon viewing they were all gone. Much to my surprise they printed a new batch for the evening viewing. To this day people who attended still comment on how nice it was to get her cookbook and they use her recipes. I will always be grateful to Mike and Pete for making a wonderful gesture and keeping my mothers memory alive.

Mark was awesome! So laid back and approachable, I really liked him.

Thank you so much for putting together the Eldercare Seminar. The workshop came at perfect timing for me and answered many of my questions/concerns. What a great thing to have for the community.
