Uncle Tony was a very important part of my life. He started me hunting and always included me in the things he did with his sons. Every 4th of July was setting off fireworks displays, something I always looked forward to. Uncle Tony stood for me at my confirmation. He was somone I looked up to and respected. He was like a father to me. He will me missed. But I know he is in a better place, where there is no more pain. I guess even God enjoys a good fireworks show. The louder the better.

Embracing life includes many losses. Awareness of this simple fact does not make living any easier. One Art BY ELIZABETH BISHOP
The art of losing isn't hard to master;
so many things seem filled with the intent
to be lost that their loss is no disaster.

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.
The art of losing isn’t hard to master.

Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.

I lost my mother’s watch. And look! my last, or
next-to-last, of three loved houses went.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.

I lost two cities, lovely ones. And, vaster,
some realms I owned, two rivers, a continent.
I miss them, but it wasn't a disaster.

—Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture
I love) I shan't have lied. It’s evident
the art of losing’s not too hard to master
though it may look like disaster.

It's been over 40 years
We have laughed through most of them
I've learned a lot by listening and watching
A Teacher to me , he has been

My fig tree blooms, thanks to him
His garden he took pride in
He never wasted anything
He was green as green could be

We shared times with his friends and mine
His stories always had our attention
He was a true union member making calls
To help save jobs for others

I will miss his little cigars
The smell of garlic and burning powder
But the thing I will miss the most
Is his friendship
