Clyde E. Weaver

Age 70, of Mount Lebanon, early Wednesday morning, June 17, 2015. Born April 9, 1945 in Kansas City, MO, son of the late Clyde E. Mitchell and Harriet Marie Smallfield; stepson of William Weaver; beloved husband for 49 years of Christine (Tissot) Weaver; devoted father of Kenneth (Heather Jane) Weaver; Heather (the late Edward) Tureen and Yoon (Courtney) Weaver; loving grandpa of Brandon, Nicholas, Max, Evan, Gabrielle, Ava and Abigail; brother of Dwight and Claudia Weaver. A graduate of UCLA, Dr. Weaver held faculty positions at the University of British Columbia and the University of Pittsburgh. He was the recipient of two Fulbright Fellowships and other awards. Clyde was intellectually curious with a wide range of interests especially classical Arab culture and history. In addition, he was an economic development consultant for several international governments and traveled extensively. Per Clyde’s wishes there will be no visitation and burial will take place in Southern France. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Saint Anne Church at a later date.
