Dorothy (Oliver) Gedrock

Age 90, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Carnegie, on Monday August 31, 2015. Wife of the late Chester C. Gedrock; mother of Mary Anne Gedrock (the late Paul) Fitzgerald; sister of George A. Oliver of Buffalo, NY and the late Matthew (Marie) Oliver, Rosella Oliver McGrady, Mary Lou (August) Fontanesi, John (Sarah) Oliver and Irene (Lawrence) Speer; also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother and aunt. She was the family "prayer warrior." God and family came first. She was fiercely loyal to family and friends, a teacher of God's word by actions and prayers. "God's loving care."  Family and friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Memorial Chapel 222 Washington Road Mt. Lebanon, on Wednesday 1-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Anne Church 400 Hoodridge Drive Pittsburgh, PA 15234, on Thursday at 11:00 AM.
