Mrs. Ferrell taught me to teach! I did half my student teaching with her at Mellon in the 70s. She was a formidable woman but so kind. She knew everything there was to know about each of her many students. Many years later, I ran into her again (a friend of a friend thing), and she was just as gracious. I owe her a lot. Merci beaucoup, Madame!

One of my favorite teachers. She taught me in the early and mid 70's. Have wondered many times how and where she was. Had I known she was at the Baptist Home I certainly would have visited her. I don't know why, but she had been on my mind the past couple of months.
