Message from Robin Dodson on behalf of Second Amendment Sisters
March 5, 2015 8:07 PM

The Second Amendment Sisters were saddened to learn of Judy’s passing. She served as the PA State Coordinator for our organization and worked tirelessly to have out country uphold the constitution. When demands for Judy’s time on other local organizations became too much she stepped down as Coordinator. She was adamant that I could continue the path she had started and serve as State Coordinator. I argued that I didn’t have to experience, or the contacts but Judy was very hard to say no to! And at the end she had convinced me that I would not only be good at this position, but would enjoy it. And she was so right. I have made the contacts and am working to keep the constitutional right for the next generation. I love all the people I have met and the organizations I have joined thanks to her support and zeal. Judy’s legacy in the Second Amendment Sisters is enduring.

I first met Judy years ago at a pro-life banquet. She was dedicated, persevering, and vivacious. May God reward her for courageously standing up for life and liberty, and, with the help of her eternal spark, may we honor her by carrying on her work.

Message from Tom and Karen Shaheen Family
February 25, 2015 3:56 PM

Words can not even describe the sadness in my heart that Judy is no longer with us. To Judy's daughters, grandchildren and family, please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss. Although Judy and I had not been in touch in the past year, she was my driving partner up to State Committee meetings, and sometimes roommate. Our daughters still remember stomping the campaign trail together with Judy. Judy fought for the conservative values and we will appreciate all the support she provided my family over the years through the deaths of a few close family members. Please let us know if a Memorial will be held for Judy in the Pittsburgh area. God has gained a tireless patriot and soul and we will continue to pray for her soul and her family. God Bless.
Tom and Karen Shaheen and daughters.

My deepest sympathies to Judy's family. Judy was in the battle of cleaning up the political arena long before many of us were even aware that there was a battle! She was kind, funny, thoughtful and tough all at the same time. Her work will live on in the lives of those who were privileged to know her and call her friend. She will be sadly and deeply missed by many. It is my hope that you will find comfort in knowing that you will not be grieving alone for Judy. She was one of a kind and all of us were better for knowing her. May God give you peace and comfort during this most shocking loss.

Judy was a beautiful soul. A soul with a bright flame and passion for Truth, Freedom and Liberty. I've known Judy since 2001 when we conducted our Townhall, Second Amendment Sisters and Fair Tax meetups. I'll miss seeing your hat, Judy. I'll miss you. Heaven has gained. We have lost.
God Bless

My deepest condolences to Judy's family. Judy and I worked on so many things together but more than that, she became a true friend that would call regularly just to talk about life and to share happy moments as well as challenging ones. She served on the Board of the PA Republican Leadership Council and was a mover/shaker in the local chapters of the John Birch Society as well as other groups too numerous to mention. She had many many friends and lots of supporters. I will truly miss her phone calls, meetings and conversations together and know that all her work will be carried on by all her friends and associates. I am sure she is already organizing up in Heaven to keep fighting for the betterment of us all!

Dear Natalie, Leslie and Hal,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. Judy was a dear friend and a determined champion for freedom and liberty. She fought the good fight. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
I served on PA State Republican Committee with her. We campaigned together for conservative candidates. I will greatly miss her support, quick wit, and sense of humor.
Best regards,
Sue Means
