Robert Wm. Hartung

Age 72, of Bloomfield, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Born in Pittsburgh's Knoxville area, March 28, 1945, the only son of the late William and Catherine (Pulakowski) Hartung. Beloved husband for 50 years of his St. Canice high school sweetheart, Mary Elizabeth (Drutis) Hartung; patient and loving father of Joe (Elaine), Joanne Dumm, Bob Jr. (Gen), Billy (Sharon), Dan (Megan), Donna Zang and Chrissy (Brian) LeJeune; proud grandpap of 20. Bob was in the Army from 1965-1967, where he received an Accommodation Medal for heroism while serving in Vietnam. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpap and friend to all. Bob's greatest gift was love and he taught his children how to love each other in ways no one else could. Friends will be welcomed at LAUGHLIN CREMATION and FUNERAL TRIBUTES, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, Friday from 2:00 until 8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Winfred Church, Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
