Margaret Elizabeth Burns

Age 95, of Dormont, originally from Chicago, IL, on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2015. Born April 18, 1920 the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Fellens) Lorenz. Beloved wife of the late Michael T. Burns; devoted mother of Thomas Burns, Elaine Ryan, Kathleen (Philip) Fonfara, David Burns, Mary Ann (Francis) Geier, the late Michael and Patricia Burns; loving grandmother of Caroline (Todd) Young, James Burns, Eddie (Stephanie) Ryan, Michael and Sean Ryan, Brigid and Joseph Fonfara, Lauren Geier, Michael Geier and Megan (Jon) Bordone; great grandmother of Brooke, Jillian and Elizabeth; sister of the late George and Edward Lorenz. The family would like to gratefully thank the staff of Wexford Healthcare for all their compassion. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Memorial Chapel, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, Sunday afternoon from 2:00–5:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Bernard Church, Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
